Sports Club of the Blind and Visually Handicapped “SALTINIS” has a pleasure to invite your visually impaired judo athletes to take part in the International Judo Competition “Saltinis Games” for Blind & Visually Handicapped, which will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on June 21 – 23, 2013.

INITIAL PROGRAMME:

June 21 (Friday)

After lunch Arrival of delegations (to Vilnius airport/train station)

19.00 – Dinner

20.00 -  Weigh-in (at the hotel)

20.30 – Team leaders and coaches’ meeting

June 22 (Saturday) – Competition day:

8.00 – Breakfast at the hotel

9.00 – Departure to the competition venue from the hotel

10.00 – 11.00 – Warming-up

11.00 Start of the competition (individual and team competition)

12.00 – 14.00 – Lunch

15.00 – End of the competition, awarding ceremony

16.00 – Departure for the hotel

19.00 – Dinner

June 23 (Sunday)

After breakfast Departure of delegations

Invited countries: All IBSA countries.

Competition regulations: The Competition will follow IBSA Judo and IJF rules.

Weight categories:

Men:                                  Women:

Up to 60 kg;                   Up to 63 kg;

Up to 66 kg;                   Over 63 kg;

Up to 73 kg;

Up to 81 kg;                    Young people born in 1996 and younger:

Up to 90 kg;                   Up to 50 kg;

Over 90 kg.                    Over 50 kg;

Awards. The awarding ceremony will take place right after the team competition in the sports hall.

The winners of the first three places in the individual events (in each weight category) will be awarded medals of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree respectively to the ranking.

Three teams taking the first three places in the team competition will be awarded cups of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree – accordingly to the ranking.

Referees. We welcome Judo referees (1 referee per country coming along with their teams) to referee some games during the tournament. We commit to cover their accommodation and meals during the invitational period.

Accommodation and meals. Teams will be accommodated in twin and triple bedrooms of the “Pan Tadeusz” Hotel, Naugarduko str. 76, LT-03202 Vilnius. Meals will be served at the restaurant of the Hotel (lunch on Saturday can be served at the competition venue).

Participation fee. The fee is 160 Euro per person per the invitational period including entry fee, meals, accommodation from dinner on Friday (June 21) till breakfast on Sunday (June 23) and transport to/from the competition venue.

Transportation fee. On request, teams arriving to the Vilnius airport / train or bus station will be provided with the ground transportation to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport / train or bus station after the competition for the price of 20 Euro per team.

Additional stay. If you wish to come earlier or depart later than indicated in the invitational period, you will have to pay additionally: Extra bed & breakfast per person – 50 Euro, extra lunch – 15 Euro and extra dinner – 10 Euro.
